We know that Love is greater than the sum of its romantic parts. Yet, we often forget how powerful it is. Indeed it is the foundation for the science of life. How we see ourselves through eyes of love determines how we see the world.

When we feel cared for, we give our time and energy more freely. If we feel that love is not available to us, we push against life. We commit ourselves to resisting anything and anybody just to conserve what we believe we have so little of. When we are disconnected from this source of energy, we lose our willpower to convert trials to triumph.

When there is only work and no love, energy can not be renewed. Where our energy can not be renewed, depression and ill-health are sure to follow.

Much of our time is consumed by our means of making money. We’ve made “loving what we do” a necessity. But it is entirely possible to work for a living, and simply find other occupations that can feed the soul — if only you nurture your love for life.

Raising children is an occupation and a work of love.
Building the body to good health is an occupation and a work of love.
Attuning the spirit is an occupation and a work of love.

Thankfulness breeds true love. Where there is gratitude, nurturing waters of restoration will flow freely.

Love is a wise and working power. Even in the midst of a maelstrom, we have the opportunity to learn how to put love to good use. This year of 2026 is a year for leadership. Courage, audacity, and right use of power will bless the brave ones with an opportunity to lead with love.

Wherever we have lost our sense of fulfillment in life, we have the authority now to make adjustments. We can restore wisdom and care to our occupations, and finally feel at home in a life worth living.
