Contemplation is Calling

Contemplation is calling once again. This time, we’re back to being still to take stock of our own nonsense; to examine the ways we sabotage ourselves and others with our thoughts, words, and actions. It’s one last opportunity to correct all forms of self-deception before it is exposed, because by early spring, the covers are coming off.

What is good, right, and ethical will be rewarded. Only if it is sincere.

Doing the wrong thing for the right reason will set you back a notch.

Doing the right thing for the wrong reason will get you exposed for being a fraud.

Lying, cheating, stealing, and all the subtle manipulations…

to fit in where one doesn’t belong,

to exact force where collaboration is obviously necessary,

to attempt to lead without consent,

to pretend to love when there is none,

to pretend there is no love when there is.

All will be revealed. If not in their full glory, then in their pinkish naked bits come early spring.

This is one last call to take stock of all our impish deceptions and lay them to bed now so that we won’t have to apologize for them later.
