In the West, we learn to read tarot from a Euro-centric perspective, based on some vague comprehension of the Torah. However, many of the true meanings of the cards come from legends spread all over the Afri-Levantine landscape. The result is a groundswell of misunderstandings that have created a “me-centric” worldview and frankly, really bad reads.

We’re missing valuable opportunities for deeper self-understanding, compassion, discernment, and human connection.

This course will teach you how to read the original meaning of the cards and their energies in the context of their original landscape. We will discuss myths from countries all over the continent of Africa, Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.

You will also learn the responsible use of:

• Power.  Bravely attuning yourself to the revelation of the truth.
• Discernment. Sifting truth from deception to come to clarity.
• Trust. Allowing the unknown to become known.
• Stewardship. Delivering skillful, honest, and clear reads.
• Care. Restoring yourself and others after the truth is revealed.
