Course Level: Beginner
This course moves students from the traditional Kabbalistic perspective of the tarot to a worldview rooted throughout Africa and the Levant. Traditional tarot assumes the Fool is alone. Afri-Levant tarot reminds us that the Fool walks his journey under the guidance of a Higher Power.
Students will be required to memorize a battery of basic numeric formulas; nothing beyond 5th grade math. All else will be learned along the way.
The material is advanced enough to keep intermediate readers engaged, and approachable enough for complete beginners.
